Finding Unique Gifts for Men
When it comes to choosing a gift for friends or family members it has be something they will want to keep and is unique. This is particularly important when we are buying gifts for men we want it to be thought of original and not something bought at your department store.
Think of the many birthday presents/gifts or promotional gifts you’ve received which weren’t satisfying, or indicative of your individuality. One of the best things about using the Internet for finding birthday presents/gifts for your loved ones is that you have the opportunity to find unique gifts for men online from retail outlets that you won’t find in your local neighborhood.
I recently bought a gift for my brother which I thought was a totally unique gift idea. Basically I bought him a small amount of land. If that was not unique enough this gift land was in Scotland so he by long standing tradition became known as the Laird (the Scottish name for Lord).
I admit it is not a huge Scottish land estate but it does legally belong to him and we all enjoyed the party when he was presented with the Lordship. We really went to town that whole day! My sister started to call him my Lord that morning and then a workmate did the same thing and he was totally puzzled by it all. He had no clue what was going to be happening at his birthday party that evening.
He actually did live in Scotland for some time but family responsibilities prevent him from returning very often so this gift of being a Scottish Laird or Lord was made really special for him. Although my brother is not a heavy drinker he does like the very occasional tipple of Scotch Whisky so we included a bottle of Isle of Jura malt whisky into the gift and make it even more unique. This whisky is distilled only about a mile of so from his new Estate so he can tour the distillery (its free of course) whenever he visits his Scottish estate on the Isle of Jura.
Even if your friend has no existing connection with Scotland they will love to read the fifty page Laird of Jura Handbook which goes into detail about the Scottish Culture and history of this beautiful Scottish island.
